Email "Mini-Course" to promote MakeMyBizFly
Did you know that, on average, a prospect needs to be exposed to your offer 7 times before he/she subscribes? That's why it's so important to begin collecting email addresses to build an opt-in list.
Your next step is to begin sending your prospects a series of emails, spaced out over a period of time, in hopes of convincing him/her to sign up for a trial subscription. Be sure to visit the "Tutorials & Tips" page to learn about this process in more detail.
We have a pre-written email series you may download and modify as indicated, and use to promote MakeMyBizFly. Sending these emails to your opt-in prospects will increase your subscribers ... and your commissions ... many times over!
The downloadable file contains all the emails in one file. This makes it possible for you to use the "Find and Replace" command to make the necessary alterations in a fraction of the time it would have taken had they been in separate files. Once you've made the necessary changes, you can copy and paste to create the individual emails for your autoresponder.
We've included a copy in Microsoft Word (.doc) format, and another in plain text (for those who may not have MS Word) But if at all possible, use the MS Word file.
- Download the file MakeMyBizFly-followup.exe. (Click on the link and select "Save")
- Double click on the file to open it (it's a self-extracting archive)
- Open the .doc file. (If your computer cannot read .doc files, then use the .txt file instead)
- Following the instructions in the file, customize it with your own product links, name, email address etc. (you can do this quickly using the "Find and Replace" command from the "Edit" menu).
- Copy and paste each individual email into a separate file. We recommend that you create both a plain text and an HTML version.
- Upload all the files to your autoresponder.

There's no better way to get signups for your permission based email lists than to have a pop-up appear as your visitor exits your site. Offer him free information, or a free bonus or gift of some kind, if he will sign up. You can then add his email address to an autoresponder, and begin sending him emails at regular intervals. |
Now the problem is, a lot of Internet visitors use pop-up blockers. In fact, nearly 25% of viewers don't ever see pop-up ads - 4 million people - and the numbers are growing. Hover Ads, however, are encoded right in the web page, so they can’t be blocked by popup blockers.
If you’re skilled at writing JavaScript, you might try a “do it yourself” approach. If not, you'll need software to generate the Hover Ad for you.

Your email campaign is a waste of your time if your emails don't get through to your intended recipients. Unfortunately, spam filters are filtering out a lot of non-spam, including mail you send to your opt-in lists. These days you MUST have some way of checking your outgoing emails for content that might get it blocked by a spam filter. |
This is the service we use. It's a web based service, and costs $147 for a 1 year membership, or $197 for a 3 year membership (that's $5.47 a month ... obviously a much better deal)
It will:
- Check for words and phrases that might tag your email as spam
- Offer suggestions for alternate words (usually a half dozen to a dozen or more)
- Check your (or another) IP for inclusion on a "blacklist"
- Do a "Send Check" of your email

Here's a cool little tool that puts animation right on your website. You can write your own scripts, record your own (or someone else's) voice, and choose from a number of different characters. It's a subscription based service and subscriptions start at $9.95 a month. It's a real attention getter. But if you use it, use it judiciously. Your goal should be to grab the viewer's attention and get him to stay and read more. Keep the script brief so your visitor has a chance to read your copy. Click once on the image for a demo! |
